Mr. Orange
Mr. Orange is a 4 piece band with influences from a varied pool of genres but listeners will largely pull a blues-southern-jam band rock kind of sound from them. The band was essentially born in junior high between friends, of whom 2 still remain in the project. Since they were around 13, they were routinely making music together and then routinely playing live by 16. After half a decade of playing together off & on, rotating members, and test driving less than stellar band names, they've come to their current iteration as Mr. Orange. Making up the current group, we have Joseph Caster on Vocals/Guitar, Jakob Ramsay on Bass Guitar, Armon Afrasiabi on Drums and finally, the newest addition to the group, Kyle Enneking on Vocals/Guitar. Now focusing on recording more so than shows, the band has been shifting in a slightly new direction, musically, and as they work on refining and recording new music, they've been anticipating the coming release of their work and opportunity to get back into live performance.
Auralai
Stephanie Russell and Nathan Kizzia perform "Coyote" off of upcoming album for 2024 Tiny Desk Contest, from Fayetteville, Arkansas. Auralai's unique brand of cello-pop is a breath of fresh air for the contemporary music scene. A foundation of cello, abstract but vivid lyrics, and complex and catchy rhythms and melodies make for a fiercely engaging experience.
Sonder Ponder
A mellow rock band from Conway, Arkansas with an impressive 7 person ensemble, including percussion, string, and wind artists. Music influences from Funk, easy listening, jazz, rock, blues, and indie. Mason Skiles (Guitar + Vocals), Ian Collins (Bass), Blake Mancil (Keys, Bass, Vocals), Jacob Gatlin (Clarinet, Guitar, Vocals), Dylan Betnar (Keys + Aux Percussion), Noah Nichols (Drums + Vocals), and Daniel Isaacs (Saxophone).
