For the past decade, Flatland Cavalry has built a reputation as "one of the most dynamic presences in country music" (Rolling Stone) with their signature "Easy on the ears, heavy on the heart" sound. From the small town of Newark, Texas, Maddie Rose is a singer-songwriter whose heart beats of soulful storytelling melodies. With music as her first love, she embraced the world of rhythm and rhyme from a young age. At the ripe age of 12, she wrote whatever came to mind on her keyboard and left handed Taylor guitar. Unbound by genre, Maddie believes in the organic creation of music, letting each song breathe and take shape in its own unique way.
